In addition to providing an excellent exposition of Dooyeweerd's Christian philosophical critique of western thought and culture he makes two valuable additions. Firstly, he explores the variety of modifications and improvements proposed by other Christian academics including Geertsema, Griffioen, Wolterstorff, McIntire, Van Peursen, Van Til, Goudzwaard, Schuurman and others. Secondly, Choi develops his own transcendental critique of Korean culture, including Korean Shamanism, Buddhism &Confucianism.
